What Should I Bring?

Nearly all of KFM takes place outdoors, under a tent. Dress comfortably, and appropriately for the weather. Consider a blanket, a pillow or cushion, or a folding lawn or camp chair.
Bring any food or snacks you would like, either as supplements or entire meals. Don't forget a refillable canteen or water bottle. Bring a small cooler if you would like to keep your food cold. Bring a flashlight or camping lantern, it gets very dark at night.
Where Do I Park?

Blue Lotus has a long (3 quarters of a mile) driveway. Please park alongside the driveway, on the grass. Drive slowly along the driveway, and be sure not to park anyone else in.
There are loading/unloading zones for musicians, vendors, and staff. Do not drive your vehicle past posted signs unless you are loading or unloading.
Following the parking requirements is critical for Fire Code compliance.
Can I Pay For Only Select Kirtans or Partial-Days?

Kirtan Fest Milwaukee is a festival which supports many musicians and vendors. It is not just an individual kirtan. Admission grants you access to the grounds (which are beautiful), as well as multiple Kirtans and workshops. We do offer single-day passes, and recommend checking out all of the incredible artists during the day.
Can I Use The Pool?

Sorry, there is no swimming allowed. Due to insurance and liability concerns, the pool and pool area are not available during KFM for swimming or recreational use.
Can I Bring My Dog?

No, pets are not allowed. KFM welcomes service animals only.
Can I Go Canoeing?

Yes. The pond and boats are available for recreational use. Life jackets are required (and available on site). Children must wear life jackets and be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Is KFM Handicap Accessible?

Yes. Blue Lotus offers ADA accessible bathrooms, boardwalks, a pier and a boat launch.
Handicap parking is available closer to the event, in designated areas.

Can My Kids Run Free?

No. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What's There to Eat?

Meals can be pre-purchased for Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch. Light snacks and beverages are available for purchase anytime during the weekend.
You are welcome to bring your own food.
Where do I Stay?

If you’re staying with us for the entire weekend (and we hope you are), there are several hotels and camp grounds in the area so you can rest comfortably between kirtans. Please follow the link below for more information.
How Do I Sign Up For Open-Mic?

There are eight 15-minute open-mic slots available during Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to sign up, please check availability here, then reserve your spot!
Open-Mics are available on a first come, first served basis. Open-Mics are available to paid attendees of Kirtan Fest Milwaukee.
